Carrier Relations Manager A2P SMS (Code CRMU921)

You Must Have:

• The ability to develop new business by engaging with relevant market players in different Regions
• Maintaining relationships and up-sell to existing customers.
• Create and maintain valuable wholesale traffic swap deals
• Buy best in class termination rates in the field of SMS
• Be able to identify, verify and use ss7 and SMPP routes
• Act as the point of contact between the customer and the team for the whole sales cycle
• Be able to work closely with Routing, Finance and technical departments to enable smooth business operation
• Support other departments on different aspects such as: business, financial,
• Monitor performance of customer in respect of quality and costs to meet company’s targets and objectives
• Administer cost Rate and Code changes from Carriers/Operators
• Fluent in English, Other languages – Advantage

Additional Requirements:

• Experience of Horizon SMS platform will be a added advantage
• Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience with SMS A2P market
• Telecom Wholesale experience in Messaging: Exchanging traffic between carriers, finding opportunities, creating Swap deals for revenue and Margin.
• In-depth knowledge of the A2P SMS market including SS7, market rates, market conduct and procedures
• Strong negotiation skills – Commercial minded
• Great communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with Finance and Accounting procedures
• Team player, Target driven, Self-motivated and works well under pressure
