Chief Technical Officer – (Code CTO1221)

About the Role:

We are looking for a CTO to lead our clients company product development strategy, vision, and execution. The CTO will use their broad technical and operational expertise to play a transformative role in leading the company’s full range of technology and product development initiatives. This is a highly strategic position that requires broad technical and operational expertise.

The CTO will be responsible for the technology vision and roadmap and will need to have a strong understanding of the business objectives. The client has a diverse set of customers ranging from small businesses to large enterprises. The CTO will need to use their broad technical and operational expertise to develop products that meet the needs of the diverse customer base.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a relevant domain from a renowned university.
  • Previous end to end product launch experience and scaling product to millions of users.
  • Minimum ten years of professional experience in software development focused on telecom-based solutions development and deployments.
  • Proven records of leading big software projects in the Telecom industry
  • Existing background managing large multi-functional technology stacks, successfully driving product milestones working closely with the business leadership.
  • Deep understanding of software development, technology and protocols for Telecom solutions, including (SIP, SS7, SIGTRAN, SMPP, etc.)
  • Previously hands-on experience of latest technology stacks including Java/SpringBoot/SpringMVC, Web services, EAI, Databases SQL & No-SQL, Frontend and backend frameworks.
  • Good understanding about Network, IT Operations, Products etc.
  • Good Presentation Skills and preparing technical proposals.
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong commercial acumen, grit, and deep appreciation for quality.
  • Exceptional team management and team-building skills.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for the senior leadership of the technology direction.
  • Partner with the business to communicate at all levels of the organization concerning building and executing the Company’s IT strategy.
  • Determines the 2–3 year Technology roadmap, architecture, and standards. Create and execute a long-term technology vision and forward-thinking capability development across all dimensions of the business (including design, consumer testing, infrastructure, data, personalization and logistics)
  • Partners with business units to idecate, experiment and incubate new opportunities that reduce cost and improve the quality of care and operations.
  • Work with the business to empower solutions that enhance its core operations.
  • Leads efforts to implement short and long term strategies, tactics, work plans and projects that support company and partner sales offerings of information technologies.
  • Driving and overseeing architecture and technical designs for project and product venture teams.
  • Developing team maturity in terms of quality concerning architecture and technical design and coding practices.
  • Effectively managing, inspiring, and mentoring the teams in multiple locations to ensure exceptional performance, cultivate technical talent, and support the company’s culture and goals.
  • Identify talent gaps and engage in the interviewing, recruitment, hiring, and on-boarding of key technologists.
  • Enhancing and defining the processes and procedures for the productivity and quality of the projects/venture products and development teams.
  • Evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends and applying them to enhance the projects and teams.
  • Inspire, develop, and engage a team of engineers, product managers, designers, and data analysts.
  • Build industry-leading experiences that create value for customers and value for the Company.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a short and long term strategic technology, product, and data roadmap to support company business goals and objectives.
  • Build a financially-leveraged team by creatively balancing outsourced resources with home-grown groups across geographies.
  • Maintain industry-leading uptime on critical technology infrastructure through significant architectural decisions, successful monitoring and testing processes, and system redundancy.
  • Utilize creative, thoughtful, and boundary-pushing system development strategies that unlock opportunity (including build vs buy decisions and system architecture).
  • Works closely with sales account teams to establish business and technical approaches to market offerings.
  • Develop technical standards for pre and post-sales technical resources for technology-specific documentation, testing and training, resource analytics, service standards and system design.
  • Consults in the development of technology-specific project management techniques.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
